LEST WE FORGET

  HISTORY PROJECT

AN ONGOING PROJECT OF COMMEMORATION UNDERTAKEN BY SENIOR HISTORY STUDENTS AT MACKAY NORTH SHS

Since it's inception in 1999, the school has undertaken four separate commemorative tours to the battlefields, memorials and cemeteries of Gallipoli, Northern France and Belgium, the Thai Burma Railway and Singapore.

A fifth tour is now being planned.

The project was featured for the second time on the ABC's 'Australian Story' on April 17, 2006.
