Commemorations - 2001
Two highlights of 2001 for the group were the involvement in Mackay's Anzac Day & Remembrance Day ceremonies
On Anzac Day, the group marched togther publically for the first time - showing off their dress shirts and their impressive banner (sponsored by North Jacklin Nissan)
Remembrance Day was a solemn occasion with two group members laying a wreath on behalf of the school.
The ceremony also saw the planting of a descendant of the original Lone Pine tree in the park near the WW1 Cenotaph
